Details

Designed in 1951 but never put into production, it brings together Japanese-inspired lightness and Danish modern clarity in a soft, atmospheric glow. The natural silk shade diffuses the light into an intimate gradient of brightness and shadow, while walnut veneer rings frame the textile from above and below, and the blackened stainless-steel structure gives the lamp definition and a floating appearance. Brought into production by GUBI for the very first time, the silk light brings a rarely seen Larsen and Bender Madsen design into contemporary interiors. Designer: Ejner Larsen & Aksel Bender Madsen Dimmable with a dimmable light source and external dimmer. The semi-transparent diffuser provides a pleasantly soft light.
