We would like to point out that this product is made of fibreglass. This material was chosen deliberately, as it is light, stable and easily malleable. Depending on the treatment and surface finish, fiberglass may look similar to glass, although, as you have correctly noticed, it does not have the properties of real glass. We are sorry if the illustrations and description did not sufficiently highlight this difference.
